Pedro’s practice areas include standard and complex transactions and commercial litigation involving cases brought in state and federal district trial and appellate courts concerning commercial disputes, real estate development, insurance, condominiums, cooperatives, construction, contracts, environmental, employment law, civil rights, commercial and residential landlord-tenant disputes, arbitration, and administrative law.
Pedro has handled litigated matters in state and federal court in connection with real estate and commercial litigation matters. He has coordinated, advised, and directed the activities of counsel and staff at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Department of Health, local and municipal environmental and health agencies, environmental engineers and scientists regarding the investigation and remediation of hazardous waste sites, identifying potentially responsible parties handling cases in state and federal trial court. Pedro has also represented employers in cases alleging unlawful employment discrimination, breach of employment agreement, violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act, and New York Labor Law.
